Delivery Charges
We ship nationwide using our long established network of couriers or our own vehicles. In order to be able to give you a firm quote for the cost of delivering an order, we require several pieces of information. As such, please do not hesitate to give us a call on 01435 867 072 or send an email to let us know:
1) The products you require
2) Where appropriate, the sizes/lengths you need
3) Your exact address
4) If there are any restrictions when delivering to your property
The following guidelines may give you an indication of the costs that are likely to be involved. Please note that the method of delivery is always determined by the largest item in your order.
SMALL ITEMS
Products such as ironmongery and floor trims can be sent via Royal Mail. Costs vary between £2 and £7.
MEDIUM ITEMS
Larger items up to 30kg, such as adhesives and oils, or large quantities of smaller items, are sent via parcel courier. The typical cost is £12.50 per parcel.
OVER LENGTH ITEMS
Items that are suitable for a parcel courier, but that exceed 1.5m in length, are subject to additional charges. Examples include skirting boards, architraves or small quantities of decking and flooring boards.
BULKY ITEMS
Heavy, large items are usually sent via pallet courier. The nationwide cost per ‘pallet space’ is around £45 on average, although this varies according to postcode.
Whilst each pallet space provides a maximum shipping length of 1.2m, they can be combined for longer items such as flooring and decking boards. So if your order includes 3.6m decking boards, 3 pallet spaces can be purchased.
DELIVERIES IN SOUTH EAST
We are based in Mayfield, around 10 miles South of Tunbridge Wells. As such, when it proves more efficient, we deliver to East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London using our own vehicles. Costs do vary according to items and delivery schedules, but approximate prices to some of the areas in the region are:
