This flag is perfect for your Olympics celebrations or a typical English summer fete. It is a traditional St Georges Flag.
The quality is very high as it is handmade using heavy weight cotton with individual coloured panels, which are double stitched for added design and strength. The brass eyelets are the finishing touch and very helpful for displaying the flag. These flags are not designed to be left in the rain as colours may run. You can reduce this by pre-washing with a colour catcher.

The St Georges Cross was re-introduced as the emblem of several countries and cities that have, or had, St George as patron saint. The Flag of St George is also the rank of an Admiral in the Royal Navy, and civilian craft are forbidden to fly it. However, ships which took part in the rescue operation at Dunkirk during World War II are allowed to fly it as a Jack. The flag of St George has since the late 20th century enjoyed a resurgence in popularity partly due to football-inspired nationalism, and also in response to the devolution movements in Scotland and Wales.
