Planning Permission & Regulations
Many oak-framed offices can be built under permitted development, meaning full planning permission isn’t always required. To qualify, the building must be single-storey, with a maximum eaves height of 2.5m, and positioned behind the main house. It must also stay within the overall footprint and boundary limits.
If your office will be heated, used daily, or includes fixed services, building regulations are likely to apply. Our team is happy to advise on this, so feel free to get in touch.
Included In Your Garden Office Kit
We supply everything needed to construct your oak-framed office, including the structural frame, cladding, roofing, insulation, and any joinery such as doors and windows. Electrics and plumbing are not included and should be arranged separately by your chosen trades.
