OAK FRAMED OFFICES
An oak-framed office is a smart, long-term solution for working from home. Built from structural oak using traditional joinery, it offers a dedicated space away from the main house, free from daily distractions. Fully insulated and suitable for year-round use, many of our garden offices can be installed without full planning permission, depending on size and location.

Why Remote Workers Choose Oak-Framed Offices
An oak-framed office gives you a dedicated workspace away from household noise and interruptions – ideal for remote working. Each build is made from structural oak and engineered to last, with full insulation for year-round comfort. Whether you’re on video calls or need space to focus, a separate garden office is a practical upgrade that can save time, improve productivity, and add value to your property.
Going Beyond Your Work Day
While most customers use their oak-framed office for remote work, these buildings are versatile enough to serve multiple purposes over time. They can be used as hobby rooms, creative studios, guest accommodation, or even a quiet study space for children.
Built to the same high standards as our annexes and summer houses, an oak-framed office is a long-term investment that adapts with your needs as a professional and homeowner.

Designing Your Own Garden Office
Every custom office design starts with your requirements. Whether you already have an architect or need us to lead the design, we’ll help shape a building that works for you. We can match details from your home, use your ideas or images as reference, and advise on what’s structurally feasible. The result is a fully bespoke office that fits both your site and your working style.

Planning Permission & Regulations
Many oak-framed offices can be built under permitted development, meaning full planning permission isn’t always required. To qualify, the building must be single-storey, with a maximum eaves height of 2.5m, and positioned behind the main house. It must also stay within the overall footprint and boundary limits.
If your office will be heated, used daily, or includes fixed services, building regulations are likely to apply. Our team is happy to advise on this, so feel free to get in touch.

Included In Your Garden Office Kit
We supply everything needed to construct your oak-framed office, including the structural frame, cladding, roofing, insulation, and any joinery such as doors and windows. Electrics and plumbing are not included and should be arranged separately by your chosen trades.
We offer a full build service for local projects and supply kits for installation nationwide. Each office is made to order and designed around your specific working needs.
