Product Details

-Manufactured from durable 2mm Corten steel
-Features a U-profile top edge for a more substantial architectural appearance
-Ideal for creating defined borders, pathways and structured landscaping schemes
-Supplied in 2500mm lengths
-Available in 150mm and 290mm heights
-Includes 3 welded fixing tabs per length
-Sections are joined and secured using the fixing tabs and Corten steel pegs
-Fixing pegs sold separately - Product Code G-000435
-U-profile provides greater rigidity than the standard straight edge profile
-Best suited to straight runs and structured layouts
-Can be cut down on site where required
-Please note that cutting may remove an end fixing tab, so an alternative fixing method may be required at the cut end
-Matching corner sections are available separately for creating neat 90 degree layouts
-Corten steel naturally develops a protective rust patina when exposed to the elements
-Product may arrive at any stage of the natural weathering process
-Rust runoff may occur during the initial weathering period and can stain surrounding surfaces
-Suitable for contemporary garden and commercial landscaping projects
-Low maintenance once the weathering process has established
-At a joint, one fixing peg can engage the end-tab slots of two adjoining edging sections
-Straight lengths have a fixing tab at each end and one in the centre
-Minor surface marks and handling scratches on the uncoated steel generally become less noticeable as the rust patina develops
-Rust colour and texture evolve with exposure and local conditions; variations between areas and pieces are natural
-Alternating wet and dry weather conditions help the exposed steel develop its patina; sheltered areas can weather at a different rate
