JOIN US AS A STORE PERSON AT ROUND WOOD

We are seeking a Store Person to join our growing team.

We are looking for a friendly, physically robust Store Person to receive and dispatch goods, while managing stock so that it is held in good order and is properly accounted for.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • A flexible team player who can demonstrate a can-do attitude and the ability to use initiative.
  • Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally.
  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
  • Experience within a yard or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ideally able to operate a counter-balance forklift or other site vehicles used for moving stock.
  • IT literate: Ideally experience with MS Word, MS Excel, inventory management and CRMs.
  • Excellent telephone and customer-facing manner.
  • A reliable, fun, team player.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods inward.
  • Store and maintain stock in good order ready for picking and counting.
  • Package and despatch goods.
  • Provide assistance with loading delivery and customer vehicles.
  • Maintain stock information in the company’s inventory management systems.
  • Maintain the warehouse and yard stores areas.
  • Assist with yard maintenance.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Stock data issues.
  • Product returns due to breakage in transit.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50-£12.00 per hour
